With over seven years of experience and advanced training from Vski Cosmetology, Rachel has elevated her craft to the level of artistry. Holding both a cosmetology and instructor’s license, she combines technical mastery with a refined eye for detail, ensuring every guest leaves her chair feeling polished, confident, and radiant.
Rachel specializes in all aspects of color services—from dimensional blonding to rich, sophisticated brunettes and bold, statement-making transformations. She approaches each appointment as a collaborative experience, customizing every shade and style to reflect her clients’ individuality while maintaining a luxurious, seamless finish.
Her passion for hair education began with experimenting on herself and others, and what started as a creative outlet has evolved into a dedication to curating beauty experiences that go far beyond the ordinary.

Level 4 Stylist
Whitney has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1996, graduating from Westminster Beauty School. In addition to her extensive salon experience, she also holds a Master Educator License, reflecting her lifelong commitment to hair education and excellence in the beauty industry.
With decades of experience, Whitney specializes in advanced color services, extensions, and comprehensive hair styling. Her passion for detail and dedication to staying at the forefront of trends and techniques have established her as a true master of her craft.
Beyond the salon, Whitney is a proud mother, music lover, and lifelong animal enthusiast.
Kylie
Level 4 Stylist
Kylie is a Master Stylist and proud graduate of Vski Cosmetology School with 4 years of experience behind the chair. She specializes in color services, particularly blonding and dimensional color, creating customized looks that highlight her clients’ natural beauty. Kylie's passion for hair styling extends beyond just aesthetics; her favorite part of being a stylist is helping people look and feel their best while building lasting friendships with those who trust her with their hair.
Fun fact: Before her career in the beauty industry, Kylie represented the South Carolina team as a competitive gymnast!
Sydney
Level 4 Stylist
Since graduating from Paul Mitchell the School of Charleston in 2013, Sydney has dedicated over a decade to mastering her craft behind the chair, focusing on exceptional hair styling techniques. Known for her precision in men’s cuts, her ability to create flattering layered styles, and her love of bold, vivid color services, she brings both artistry and technical skill to every appointment.
For Sydney, hairstyling is more than just a service—it’s an experience rooted in her passion for hair education. She believes that great hair has the power to transform not only how someone looks, but how they feel. Her goal is always to ensure that every guest leaves her chair feeling confident, radiant, and true to themselves.
Outside of the salon, Sydney is just as passionate about the things that bring her joy. She’s a proud cat mom to Honey, an avid concert-goer with a playlist full of grunge, rap, and indie, and she loves spending her downtime shelling along the beaches of Charleston.
Tiffany
Level 4 Stylist
Tiffany has been a licensed hairstylist since 2006, graduating from Warren Tech in Colorado and completing a two-year apprenticeship to perfect her craft in hair styling. With over a decade of experience, she combines precision, creativity, and a thoughtful touch that elevates every guest’s experience.
After four years in a barber shop, she mastered men’s cuts and grooming. She’s also known for delivering an ultra-relaxing, spa-like shampoo that clients rave about, enhancing their overall experience during color services.

Colleen
Level 3 Stylist
Colleen is a Charleston native whose artistry and attention to detail bring a fresh perspective to Ashby Rose Hair. She specializes in color services, including luminous blonding, dimensional color, and seamlessly blended layers, while continuously enhancing her hair styling skills with advanced extension techniques, such as hand-tied applications.
Her approach is equal parts creative and precise, ensuring every guest leaves with hair that feels elevated, effortless, and uniquely their own. Known for her warm personality and refined touch, Colleen creates an experience that is as welcoming as it is transformative.
Outside of the salon, she enjoys time with her husband, stepdaughter, and their miniature dachshund, often with an iced coffee in hand. Her passion for music and the arts inspires the sense of style and individuality she brings to each client she serves, reflecting her commitment to hair education and personal expression.
Ashlyn
Level 3 Stylist
Ashlyn has four years of experience behind the chair. Born and raised in the Lowcountry, she graduated from VSKI Cosmetology in 2022 and has been passionate about the beauty industry ever since.
She specializes in creating beautiful bright blondes and dimensional, lived-in color that enhances each client’s natural features and lifestyle. Ashlyn’s favorite part of being a hairstylist is letting her creativity flow while building genuine, lasting relationships with everyone who sits in her chair.
Outside of the salon, you can find her watching reality TV on the couch with her dog and boyfriend, trying new restaurants and bars with her girlfriends, or wandering Target with an iced vanilla latte in hand.
Payton
Level 1 Stylist
Payton is a dedicated and highly passionate hairstylist whose work is rooted in both artistry and intention. A graduate of Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School (August 2025), she brings a refined foundation of technical skill paired with a modern, creative eye.
She specializes in dimensional color, with a focus on brunettes, reds, and blondes, as well as soft, lived-in tones designed to grow out seamlessly. Her approach to cutting emphasizes movement and shape, with layered cuts that enhance natural texture and elevate the overall look.
Beyond her technical expertise, Payton is known for creating an elevated yet welcoming experience behind the chair. She values genuine connection and fosters an inclusive, judgment-free environment where every guest feels comfortable, seen, and fully themselves. Her chair is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly.
Her goal is simple but intentional: for every client to leave feeling confident, refreshed, and effortlessly beautiful.
Outside the salon, Payton draws inspiration from coastal living, fashion, music, and beauty, often spending her time at the beach or exploring downtown. She stays closely connected with her community through social media, sharing both her work and the lifestyle that inspires it.
Madison
Level 1 Stylist
Madison is a rising talent who brings fresh energy, passion, and precision to every guest experience. A 2025 graduate of VSKI Cosmetology, she is dedicated to continually refining her craft and delivering beautifully tailored results.
She has a natural eye for color and a growing specialization in highlights and dimensional color work, where she focuses on creating soft blends, brightness, and customized tones that enhance each client’s features. Whether she’s building a lived-in blonde or refreshing a rich brunette, Madison approaches every color service with intention and artistry.
In addition to her color work, Madison offers blowouts and styling, as well as haircuts for women, men, and children, ensuring every client leaves feeling polished and confident.
Outside of the salon, Madison enjoys spending time with her family and indulging in a little retail therapy. Her genuine enthusiasm and warm personality makes her a beautiful addition to the Ashby Rose Hair team, and we’re so excited to watch her grow.

Before opening the salon, she spent two decades managing a high-end plastic surgery practice, where she developed a deep understanding of luxury service and client experience.
As owner, Lauren is dedicated to creating an environment where both her team and clients feel supported, inspired, and valued. She is committed to expanding hair education, elevating color services, and ensuring every visit feels like a truly high-end experience.
